Patrick Bertermann
Patrick Bertermann, CEO
born 1970, is one of the founders and CEO of 3GNet, an iCrossing company. Bertermann developed a passion for computer science while growing up in Munich Schwabing. Before getting into the interactive business, Bertermann studied law. During this time he occupied himself with search engine optimization and marketing. In 1999, he founded the Bertermann & Grünig GbR with Oliver Grünig. From that starting company, Bertermann worked with Grünig to establish 3GNet GmbH as one of the leading European digital marketing agencies. Bertermann puts all his heart and soul into the company.


Oliver Grünig
Oliver Grünig, CTO
born 1971, is one of the founders and CTO of 3GNet, an iCrossing company. He leads the company’s system administration, programming and Web development departments. Grünig became fascinated by the world of computers at just nine years-old, developing his first piece of software at the age of 10. Grünig’s entrepreneurial spirit matched his technical abilities and he founded his first company at the age of 16. He has managed the technology department of a German subsidiary of an English IT-Company before co-founding the Bertermann & Grünig GbR with Patrick Bertermann in 1999. The company later became the 3GNet GmbH.


Gottfried Häuserer
Gottfried Häuserer, COO
born 1971, has been a part of 3GNet since February 2006. The decision to professionally expand 3GNet at an international level, led to the incorporation of a third managing director. Both on a personal as well as on a professional note, Gottfried Häuserer, by means of his Austrian charm, perfectly complements and enhances the existing team of shareholding directors. Growing up at Bodensee, this native-born Austrian chose to go to Vienna for his business administration studies. In Vienna he was able to gather extensive experience in the fields of agency management and publishing, including the supervision of first-time internet projects in the field of marketing in the late 90s. Arriving in Munich in 1999 he played a decisive role in the set-up of O2’s Online-Shops. It was during his tenure at O2 that he became acquainted with the two founding directors of 3GNet and all three agreed that the summation and combination of their individual skills and aptitudes would be the key to 3GNet’s future. Mr. Häuserer is responsible for the fields of policymaking, personnel, finances, co-operations and Affiliate Management.

Oliver Buchberger
Oliver Buchberger, Director Finance
started working in financial controlling in 2001. Oliver is B.A. of Economics and heads the financial department of iCrossing since 2006.


Benedikt Volkmer
Benedikt Volkmer, Director Technology
joined iCrossing in 2002 while graduating in Theoretical Informatics. He heads the department of technology specialized in data analysis and product development.


Martin Pichler
Martin Pichler, Head of Affiliate Management
is IT-Specialist with focus on application development. He heads the affiliate marketing department since 2008 specializing in planning and implementation of online marketing and sales campaigns.


Dr. Tina Severa
Dr. Tina Severa, Head of Content
joined iCrossing in 2003 while starting her graduation in Psycholinguistics. Afterwards she heads the editorial department of iCrossing Germany primarily specializing in search marketing content.

Because I'm responsible for our operations and service delivery, I work with the entire team to make sure we provide world-class services and solutions to our clients. I believe that by allowing our people to make decisions based on individual client needs, we are creating a nimble organization that will drive results for our clients and for our company." Scales joined iCrossing in 2006 to increase bottom-line profitability, streamline operations and improve the overall efficiency of the company. He is an interactive industry veteran, with more than 25 years as an executive manager. Before joining iCrossing, Scales was CEO at Agency.com, a full service interactive agency, where he managed all aspects of the agency's worldwide operations. In its fifth anniversary issue, BtoB Magazine named Scales one of the top 25 "Who's Who" newsmakers for 2000-2005. Scales is a member of the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas and a member of the Internet Task Force for Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. He has dual undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering and Mathematical Physics, and a master of science in chemical engineering from Rice University; he also has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
